Camp Location

This camp was located near the railway line that ran between Koningsplein and Meester Cornelis, just north of the Werkplaatsen van de Spoorwegen (railway work station), between van der Houtlaan and Sluisweg. ADEK stands for Algemeen Delisch Emigratie-Kantoor (General Deli Emigration Office), recruitment office of coolies for the tobacco plantations in Deli.The camp was situated in barracks, surrounded by barbed wire and gedek.
