Camp Location

Tjimahi was about 10 kilometers west of Bandoeng. The Pasir Benteng rubber plantation was located about 35 kilometers southwest of Bandoeng, at the foot of Kendeng mountain. It was accessible via Tjililin; then 5 kilometers to the south; then turning right; then after 6 kilometers turning right again (onto a narrow path) towards the kali (river) Tjitaroem. The camp was not fenced.

This camp was an agricultural colony (“oebi” sweet potatoes and vegetables) for Indo-European boys. It was established once the Goenoeng Haloe camp was full.
